Each CERSI aims to address a priority programme theme and strengthen regulatory science capability in the UK to help ensure regulation keeps pace with advances in healthcare and life sciences.
By establishing a network of centres, launched in early 2025, the CERSI programme represents a landmark initiative in regulatory science. The CERSI programme drives collaboration between the MHRA and academia, industry, healthcare organisations and patients to accelerate the delivery of safe innovation in human health.
