The European Medicines Agency (EMA) works to ensure that the needs of women are considered throughout the development, evaluation and use of medicines in the European Union (EU). This includes promoting appropriate representation in clinical research, providing guidance to medicine developers, improving knowledge on medicine use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and generating real world evidence on women's health.
