Executive Vice-President Virkkunen in the US for G20 Ministerial meetings

Starting today until Wednesday, 2 September, the European Commission will be represented by Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice-President for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy and Valdis Dombrovskis, Commissioner for Economy and Productivity, Implementation and Simplification at the G20 Ministerial meetings in North Carolina, United States of America. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Executive Vice-President Virkkunen will take part in the G20 Innovation Ministerial Meeting in Raleigh-Durham, where technology and digital ministers will discuss how AI and emerging technologies can drive economic growth and innovation. They will also discuss supply chains and skills, as well as scientific advancements and investments.
